About Us
What is Almost Critical?
We're “Almost Critical” - we’re not perfect because we are just two humans, but we’ve made a solid effort to hone our skills and crafts to bring our community quality items including handmade dice, dice bags, laser cut and engraved TTRPG accessories, and chainmaille. All of our handmade dice are one-of-a-kind, although upon occasion we will accept a dice commission to "reproduce" a previously-made dice set or to make something just for you! Everything we do is handmade with care, attention, and passion for gaming and our crafts in order to maximize our connectivity with you. We do what we do because we care about your experience at the gaming table - we don't think about you as customers, we think of you as friends and our gaming family!
Who We Are
We are married partners and best friends from Bellingham, WA, who share a love of gaming and creating!
We've been handmaking dice for over three years, terrain for four years, textile and cloth projects for over eight years, and chainmaille for well over a decade. Our laser cutting and engraving is our newest endeavor at just over two years. We're also working on our skills in 3D modeling, map design, campaign creation, and character design - more to come on that soon!
On the right over here is our mascot Finrock, the stone giant our (5-year-old!) DnD party befriended by shearing our sheep and knitting him a sweater in the cold winter (so of course we had to make his mini a sweater too).
